The guts of Bachmann!

You have to give it to Congresswoman Michelle Bachmann! She’s got guts. She doesn’t do like some politicians who tell you what you want to hear during a campaign just to get your vote. No, she tells you what she truly believes! It is clear that she believes Black people should just return to slavery in order to resolve any social problems that may be caused by one-parent households! She often gets her facts mixed up, but she sticks to her beliefs — even if she has to invent the facts to match.
Congresswoman Bachmann doesn’t care too much about the sins of her forefathers against the very households she’s now applauding as the “good life.” She totally misses the point that the households during slavery actually had one person in charge — the slave master! Even though there may have been two adults in some of the households, neither had any power when it came to selling off their children, committing sins against the women and girls, and destroying the family in any way the slave master chose to do so. Did you wonder why Bachmann had no expression about the boss’ lack of family values? Often the child involved was totally unrelated to the “father” of the household in which he lived. Boss man took care of that by raping the women in the household and producing loads of children out of wedlock with the woman of the family and her daughters — another disregard for family values.
If a white person were caught teaching an enslaved person how to read, there is a possibility that white person would have been killed. There was no such thing in the eyes of the slave master as a marriage as we know it today among the enslaved. So the wedding ceremony was simple—jumping over the broom. Marriage of slaves was unthinkable in the eyes of the slave masters. In its absence, the ceremonial jumping of the broom served as a declaration of settling down in a marriage-like relationship within the slave community. Jumping the broom was always done before witnesses as a public ceremonial announcement to other members of the slave community that a couple chose to become as close to married as was then allowed.
From her point of view, would America be better off if all the white immigrants returned to Europe? Would she then believe there would be no social security problem, no Medicaid problem, no Medicare problem, no health insurance problem, no spending problem and no unemployment problem? The only people I can think of who could benefit by going back to their original status and do better than they are doing today, would be the Native Americans because this country once belonged to them. So, when I hear Americans say, “We have got to take back our country”, are they speaking for the Native Americans?
Bachmann believes, “… sadly a child born into slavery in 1860 was more likely to be raised by his mother and father in a two-parent household than was an African-American baby born after the election of the USA’s first African-American President.” Is she implying slave families were better off?
What does it mean when you have a white woman who prides herself at being a Christian can say such a thing? It’s clear that she has jumped over the humanity of a whole race of people who were enslaved against their will. Ms. Bachmann needs that broom to sweep out the hatred and the bitterness in her heart, her mind, her spirit and in her soul.
