NOPD officers’ rights violated

13th October 2014   ·   0 Comments

The New Orleans Advocate’s Saturday, October 4, 2014 article, “NOPD given two weeks to find new jobs for high-ranking cops or lay them off,” sums up why Mayor Mitch Landrieu’s police mismanagement style has demoralized and de-populated NOPD to the point where the Louisiana State Police must now help it do its job.

Sentencing veteran officers to languish in a FEMA trailer, without in-door plumbing speaks volumes about why this city is a free fire zone! Thugs know all too well that the few remaining police are on a tight leash held by this mayor.

NOPD can’t bribe enough people to join or stay, so long as their “career” risks spending the end of it in a trailer, next to horse stables.

I wish all our local civil rights activists would include cops as their next cause! These officers’ rights have been violated in an arrogant, humiliating fashion and they deserve public support

American Brothers Against Crime supports good cops, not bad policy!
