The Krewe of Rameses Club hosts its 16th Biennial Carnival Ball

The Krewe of Rameses recently celebrated its 16th Biennial Carnival pageantry to the theme, “30 Years of Royalty and Pearls Knowledge,” during which King Rameses II of 2019 Michael Reed was coronated along with his queen, not just on that evening but every day and night, Anita Reed who reigns as Queen Nefertari 2019.
The Krewe’s High Priestess of Thebes is Ms. Lois Lawrence who serves as the club’s Sargent at Arms and is a club charter member.
And King Rameses II 2019 Vizier was Mr. Eugene Collins.
Also capturing the spotlight that evening were the “Beaus of Rameses” who are Messrs. Miquel Aubert Jr., son of Demetria Walls and Miquel Aubert Sr.; Martel Dunn, son of Martina and Cornelius Gordon; Devonta Fleming, son of Natasha Fleming and Michael Reaux; Jarod Shelton, son of Sonja Shelton and Annias Allen; and Wynn Williams , son of Eboni Anderson and Wynn Williams.
Their escorts for the evening were Jonquel Fields, Kanika Thomas, Kennisha Thomas, Dunn, Dunn.
Serving, as a royal attendant to the King was young Master Jerome Odom Jr., while little Misses Ry’lee Collins and Rihaan Reed were the queen’s attendants.
Young Miss Victoria Everrett was the Palace Guard.
Mistress of Ceremony was Ms. Arleeta Terrell and the Master of Ceremony was Mr. Daren Favorot. The narrator for the pageantry was Mrs. Sharon Worthy.
The event was hosted by the club’s liaisons; Lucille Grayes, Michelle Martin, Sharee King-Williams. and Glenda Spears.
