Lucia Jackson

The celebration was themed “Four score and five” as family, friends, and her fellow members of her church joined with Ms. Lucia Elizabeth Exkano Jackson at her 85th birthday party held on December 28 at Little Zion Multi Purpose Center on Earhart Boulevard. An active member of St. Peter AME Church and member of the Hollygrove Education for Paul Dunbar School Organization, Ms. Jackson was born on December 31, 1934. The breast cancer survivor is the widow of the late John Willie Jackson. She is the mother of seven: the Rev. Lester I. Jackson, Orrin J. Jackson, Ira J. Jackson, Lucia Patricia Jackson Butler, the late Daundra Jackson Joseph, the late David W. Jackson and the late Kathy Jackson.
