Mount Zion to celebrate 135th anniversary

Mount Zion Lutheran Church, 1401 Simon Bolivar Avenue, will celebrate its 135th Church Anniversary Service on Sunday, April 14, at 3:00 p.m.. The theme for the occasion will be “Standing Firm in God’s Faith” (1st Corinthian 16:13).

The guest speaker will be the Rev. Perry McCullam, Pastor of Pilgrim Lutheran Church and Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, both in Birmingham, Alabama.

All members, present and former, friends, family members and local clergy are invited to attend the worship service and reception.
