Early voting for April 21 election begins April 7

Early voting for the April 21, 2012 Municipal General Election is set to begin on Saturday, April 7, 2012, and end on Saturday, April 14, 2012, with voting polls open from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. daily, except Sunday.

There are three locations for early voting. They are The Registrar of Voters Office in City Hall (1300 Perdido Street, Rm 1W24), the Algiers Courthouse (225 Morgan Street, Rm 105) and the Voting Machine Warehouse (8870 Chef Menteur Highway). Parking for early voting is available at all locations.

Parking is available at the City Hall site, on LaSalle and Perdido Streets, only where indicated, to include parking for persons with disabilities. Voters may enter City Hall from both front entrances on Perdido Street (main and front entrance near LaSalle Street, and the rear entrance on Poydras Street).
