Essence Music Festival offers free ticket to LA residents

New Orleans, LA – Essence Fest fans who are looking to stretch their concert dollars this year may be in luck.

Essence Fest announced that it is offering a one-day only flash sale on tickets to the June 30 concert. The offer has been extended to Louisiana residents only.

Festival goers interested in taking advantage of the buy one, get one offer must show a valid State of Louisiana ID. The offer is limited to eight paid tickets per person and does not include VIP tickets.

Ticket purchases must be made between 9:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. at the Smoothie King Center box office on Friday (June 23). The offer is not available online.

The June 30 lineup includes such notable acts as Diana Ross as headliner, and John Legend and India.Arie on the Mainstage. Other acts include Doug E. Fresh, Kelly Price and New Orleans-native PJ Morton in the Superlounges.
