WWOZ 90.7 FM seeks a seasoned, dynamic, hands-on Director of Development to lead the fundraising efforts of one of the nation’s most vibrant public radio stations. Responsible for overseeing and ensuring success in several areas including membership, major gifts, underwriting, corporate/ foundation support, grants, special events, planned giving, etc.

Proven track record as a successful fundraiser with established relationships in New Orleans market highly preferred. Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 8 years of proven experience and increasing responsibility. Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, act upon financial information, initiate and cultivate key relationships with funding community. Superior written and verbal skills as well as computer-based analytical skills a must. Staff management experience including expert leadership and coaching skills are required. Reports directly to the General Manager and is a key member of the Senior Staff.
