La. receives $4M in education grants

U.S. Senator Mary L. Landrieu, D-La., on Thursday announced that the TRIO Talent current accounts for bad credit Search Program has awarded more than $4 million in grants to nine university campuses in Louisiana. The grants will be used to identify and assist more than 9,000 students from disadvantaged backgrounds who have the potential to succeed in higher education.

Campuses receiving TRIO Talent unsecured personal loan company Search Program grants include: Dillard University in New Orleans, $346,988; Southeastern University in Hammond, $609,019; Southern University and A&M College in Baton Rouge, 452,457; Southern University in New Orleans, $321,997; Southern University in Shreveport, $395,592; University of Louisiana in Lafayette, 476,917; University of Louisiana in Monroe, $345,483; UNO, payday loan installments no credit check $835,228; and COPE, Inc. in Alexandria, $230,000.

“All children deserve the opportunity to pursue their dreams and receive a high quality education, no matter their socio-economic background,” Sen. Landrieu said.

The TRIO Talent Search Program provides academic, career and financial counseling to low-income personal loan interest rates for tcs employees students and encourages them to graduate from high school and continue on to and complete their postsecondary education.
