Louisiana needs to turn blue

It’s time for the people of Louisiana to wake up and stop living in a dream world.

The Republican Party is the party for the rich only and their only concerns are cutting programs that are beneficial for the people of Louisiana.

Let’s make Louisiana a blue state instead of a red state. We can do this by voting every Republican out of office.

The Republican Party and the Tea Party are the parties of doom and disarray for all of us regardless of race. Republicans are against the following proposals:

• Raising the minimum wage

• Equal pay for women

• Immigration reform

• Lowering taxes for the middle class

• A woman’s right to choose

• Medicaid expansion

• Raising taxes for the wealthy

We need a party that’s sensitive to needs of all the people, not just a few.

Look into your heart and soul Louisiana. When I look into mine, I see Louisiana becoming a Blue State forever.
