New Orleans Chamber names new board

The New Orleans Chamber of Commerce recently welcomed William D. Aaron, Jr. as the newly elected 2012 Chairman of the Board of Directors. Aaron is a practicing attorney and managing shareholder of the law firm Aaron, PLC. Previously serving as Vice Chairman of the Board, this will be Mr. Aaron’s second three-year term as a re-elected board member.
New officers of the Board elected unanimously by the Chamber include William D. Aaron Jr., Chairman; G. Ben Johnson, President & CEO; D. Mark Singletary, Vice Chairman; Yvonne Mitchell-Grubb, Secretary; Fred Parker, Treasurer; and Patricia C. Denechaud, Past Chairman.
Eight new board members were also elected and include Mark E. Blanchard of New Orleans Cold Storage; Calvin Mackie of Mackie Enterprises; Alton K. McRee of Fidelity Homestead Savings Bank; Karen Rawls of Chevron North America Exploration and Production Company; E. Paige Sensenbrenner of Adams & Reese Law Firm; Gary B. The New Orleans Chamber of Commerce was founded in 2003 to provide chamber members with the opportunity to build mutually beneficial business partnerships within the City of New Orleans and the metro area.
