New Salem Annual Women’s Day set

New Salem Baptist Church, 1530 Alvar Street, New Orleans, La., will host its Annual Women’s Day on Sunday, June 12, at 10:30 a.m. All are welcome.
The guest speaker for the occasion will be Mrs. Bessie Lafayette of Baton Rouge, La., and the theme for the occasion will be “Christian Women Being Rooted and Grounded in Love Through Relationships.”
The Rev. Warren Jones Jr. is pastor of New Salem Baptist Church.
