New Salem to host Women’s Day

New Salem Baptist Church, 1530 Alvar pls payday loans az Street, New Orleans, La., will observe its 35th Annual Women’s Day on Sunday, June 9, during its 10:30 a.m. worship service. All are welcome. The theme for the occasion will be “Christian Women Committed to the High Call of Caring and Sharing Through Missions” (Matthew 28:16-20).

The guest speaker will be Elvert Bijou, president of the First District Missionary Baptist Association Women’s Department. Nicole Bell and Valencia West are co-chairs for the 35th Annual Women’s Day Program and the Rev. Warren Jones Jr. is pastor of New Salem Baptist Church.
