New Zion celebrates 92nd anniversary

New Zion Baptist Church, 2319 Third Street, New Orleans, La., celebrated its 92nd anniversary on Sunday morning, April 28, during its 10:55 a.m. worship service.

The theme for the occasion was “The Church That Proclaims God’s Redemptive Love” (Ephesians 1:7 and Titus 2:14).

The guest speaker was Pastor Orin Grant of St. Paul Baptist Church. Sister Gloria-Bryant Banks and Brother Louis Moore served as chairpersons for the event.

Dr. C.S. Gordon is pastor of New Zion Baptist Church.
