Service-industry workers to receive free pre-Super Bowl training

In preparation for the Super Bowl, the New Orleans Convention & Visitors Bureau is hosting a free service experience training session presented by Disney Institute in New Orleans January 22 and 23. The program is designed make the city’s service industry as Super Bowl-ready as possible.

Training will take place at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center on the 200 level above Hall H. Parking is available across the street in convention center parking lot F.

Management Training for business owners or any employee in a supervisory role will take place on Thursday, January 22. Interested persons can choose between two three-hour sessions, the first from 9:00 a,m. until 12 noon and the second from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.

Front Line Employee Training will take place on Wednesday, January 23. Interested workers can take advantage of one of three two-hour training seasons: 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., 12 noon to 2:00 p.m. or 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
