6th February 2012   ·   0 Comments

On Saturday, March 3, 2012, the Urban League of Greater New Orleans will host the sixth annual Schools Expo at the newly renovated Mercedes-Benz Superdome from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The event is expected to draw 700 families plus school representatives from New Orleans-area public, parochial and independent schools.

All community resource providers, including those who serve families, schools, provide child care or offer summer camps are invited to share their information at the Schools Expo. There’s also an opportunity to showcase your organization with a demonstration or performance. There are no participation costs for non-profit organizations, and only a nominal fee of $25 for for-profit entities.

All participating resource providers also are invited to attend a 9:00 a.m. Breakfast Networking Event with school leaders sponsored by the Connect2Educate Collaborative. As you set up your organization’s materials, event organizers hope you will use this opportunity to network, and make connections to better serve the children and families in the community.

To secure your organization’s participation in the Schools Expo and register for the Connect2Educate Collaborative Breakfast Networking Event, access the Registration Information and Form at www.connect2educate.org or call (504) 620-2358.
